    Frequently Asked Questions

    From which class a student can take admission for the Classroom Programme of West Bengal Board?

    From Class- VIII onwards students can take admission for Classroom and Non-Classroom Programme.

    Students have to go through the Admission Test before joining the Classroom Programme . Admission Test is based on the basic concept of the following subjects: English Grammar; Mathematics; Physical Science and Life Science. All the questions are MCQ type. Full marks: 50 and Time duration: 30 mins.

    After completion of Class-VII Annual examination students can appear for the Admission Test.

    Admission Test questions based on the syllabus of the Class- VII, VIII & IX for admission in Class-VIII, IX & X. So, the students already take the preparation for their School Annual Examination. Hence, we ask the students to appear in the admission test either before the annual test or just after completion of the annual test.

    Madhyamik Examination is the first public examination of the student. Based on these marks a student can select his/her desired stream for higher studies. So all the students MUST give their first Board examination with full preparation to achieve their desired goal and full fill their ambitions.

    For Board examination preparation Pathfinder design a full proof programme so that gradually a student can develop themselves and rectify all their errors in order to score more than their expected marks. there are 5 sets of examinations comprising Unit Test (50 marks) on part syllabus; Pre-Mock Test (70 marks) on part syllabus; 3 sets of Mock Tests (90 marks) on full Board syllabus. Question papers are prepared by the subject specialist faculty members after rigorous research work throughout the year. So that the students get the most suggestive questions bank for their Board Examination. The Answer scripts are evaluated by the West Bengal Board Teachers as per the norms of the Board. After the examination the students get detailed model answers which help them to know how to write as per the Board norms. Doubt discussion classes are held after completion of each examination. We also provide the help-line contact number of the Teachers so that the students can take guidance from them till the last day of their examination.
