    JEE Advanced 2021 is just a day away! With so much effort and time spent to turn the IIT dream into reality, the day of JEE Advanced is very much looked forward by engineering aspirants. The online computer-based JEE Advanced 2021 will be held on October 3, 2021, across the country. JEE Advanced is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering courses at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

    JEE Advanced is one of the most prestigious and challenging exams in India. So, now is the time to hit it. While there is much difference in the type of paper of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced but in the end, it all comes to your in-depth knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

    Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 examination. The exam will be held for the top 2,50,000 rankers of the JEE Main 2021 exam through the computer-based format.     • Arrive at the examination center before the stipulated time
    • Keep the admit card on you are asked to
    • Listen to the instructions given in the examination hall carefully
    • Read the instructions given in the computer system carefully
    • Read all the questions carefully
    • Do all of your rough work in the provided scribble pad.
    • Remain in the examination hall during both the papers
    • Sign the attendance sheet at the correct place
    • Clear your doubts if any
    • Cooperate with the authorities, while they frisk you before you enter the examination hall
    • Remember to collect your JEE Advanced admit card once the exam is over.

    Now within the don’ts first and foremost comes the Negative marking that directly impacts the overall JEE Advanced 2021 score and candidates’ rank in the exam.       1. Read the question attentively- Students should read every question carefully and understand it well before answering. This will reduce the chances of missing any point of the question and thereby avoiding negative marks.
      2. Don’t focus on the number of attempted questions- Many students focus on the number of questions answered by them and because of this they tend to answer questions they are not even sure of. Such students focus on increasing their attempts. However, the focus of the students should be on the number of correctly answered questions in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam rather than the number of attempted questions. This will also help in reducing negative marks.
      3. Don’t be in a Rush- A competitive exam like JEE Advanced can cause anxiety among students and because of which students tend to make silly mistakes in a hurry. Candidates should keep themselves calm to avoid any careless mistakes.
      4. Don’t do guesswork- Students should keep in mind that they should answer the question in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam only when they are sure of the answer. Guesswork will directly lead to negative marks and it is advised to avoid answering if a candidate is not sure of it.

    JEE Advanced 2021: Other Things to NOT TO DO

    • Don’t rush through the guidelines that are given in the allotted computer
    • Do not indulge in any unfair practice in the exam hall
    • Do not misbehave with the invigilator at any point in time
    • Do not disturb other candidates
    • Don’t answer in a hurry. On the other hand, don’t waste time also
    • Don’t spare more than the required amount of time on an answer.
    • Don’t answer questions simply as you could lose marks if you answer negatively marked questions.
    • Do not take the scribble pad with you. It has to be submitted to the invigilator after the examination ends.
