Before applying for the exam, you should check their eligibility as detailed in the NEET 2024 information brochure.
Additionally, you must enter your full current and permanent address, including the pin code, e-mail address, and mobile phone number (own or parents/guardians only).
You must ensure that the mobile numbers and e-mail addresses they provide in the online NEET 2024 Application Form are your own or those of your parents/guardians, as NTA will communicate with them via SMS or e-mail to the provided mobile number and e-mail address.
Any application form other than the online application form will be rejected. You are not required to send the Confirmation Page of the NEET 2024 online Application Form or any other document to the NTA. However, advised to preserve at least four copies of the Confirmation Page and confirmation of fee paid for future reference.
For seats under the 15% All India Quota, applicants from the Union Territory of J & K and Ladakh must submit an online Self Declaration.
Step-by-Step fill-up process of NEET Application Form 2024
You must go to the NEET 2024 website at https://neet.nta.nic.in/, register as a new user by clicking ‘New Registration,’ and fill in the relevant details to apply. If you are already an existing user then login with your application number and password under ‘Only Registered Candidates Sign in’.
Enter the captcha and press the ‘Preview and Next’ button. Check the provided information carefully and then press the ‘Next’ button.
Click the ‘Submit’ button after selecting the OTP option and entering the OTP number obtained in the registered phone number.
After registering, select the ‘select here log in’ button, and the existing user will immediately log in with their account details and begin filling out the form.
Candidates who are registering, need to enter a new password, confirm the new password and select a security question (make sure to remember or note down the password and security question for future logins).
Details that were entered during registration will be pre-filled in the application form and cannot be changed, so fill in the details carefully.

8. Fill the Personal Details section in the NEET 2024 application form with your name, your father’s and mother’s name, DOB, Gender, Nationality and Cast categories. Various other options are to be filled up accordingly:
Enter your Name/ Father’s Name/ Mother’s Name as it appears on the Secondary School Certificate or comparable Board/University Certificate, in capital letters.
Date of Birth in the format of dd/mm/yyyy as given in the Secondary School Examination or comparable Board/University certificate.
Your Gender and Nationality.
Enter the Permanent address of your own or Parents/Guardians with Pin Code and district.
You have to provide your own or your Parent’s/Guardian’s Mobile Number and e-mail address only
9. Fill the Mode of Preparation, either with self-study or through a study institute depending on the candidate.
10. Enter the captcha or security pin and click ‘Save Next’.
11. Enter Aadhar details in the Aadhar section.
12. Next, click ‘Appy For’ and select ‘National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)’.
13. Enter the Exam centres according to your convenience.
14. Enter Father’s and Mother’s occupations and qualifications.
15. Next, you will enter your qualification details along with your school details.
16. After this, fill up the Additional Details section along with the document upload.
17. Then, you need to verify your e-mail address.
18. Select the payment online option and choose the suitable payment method.

NEET 2024 General Instructions by NTA
You must register for the NEET 2024 examination as soon as the link is available at https://neet.nta.nic.in/. Registering later may result in complications such as server downtime or payment failure, among other things.
You must not falsify or provide misleading information in their application form. Convicted of such acts will have the applications denied and be prevented from taking any NTA-conducted exams.
If an application form is incomplete or does not follow the instructions provided in the application form, it will be rejected without further notification.
Once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable. Moreover, the money will not be carried over to subsequent examinations. Furthermore, simply deduction of fees from the bank is not valid proof of payment. You must present the fees Confirmation receipt issued to you upon successful payment.
The entire NEET 2024 examination shall be recorded. You have to keep your head up and face the camera during the filming so that your identification may be easily established. Additionally, you have to give consent to be recorded throughout the examination.
Passing the NEET 2023 exam alone does not ensure selection and admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses seats in any Medical Institution. Admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses is dependent on meeting the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in the merit list, medical fitness, and any other criteria prescribed by the Government of India, respective States, Universities, Institutions, and Medical/ Dental/ Ayurveda/ Siddha/ Unani/ Homoeopathy Colleges.

1. How to retrieve a forgotten NEET 2024 Application form number?
Visit the NEET website and click ‘Forgot Application Number’. Enter the same information as your previous application like Candidate’s, Father’s, Mother’s Name, DOB, Categories and security PIN. Click submit and receive the application number on your registered phone number.
