Eligibility Criteria
Nationality must be Indian
Should be a permanent resident of West Bengal for 10 successive years as of 31st December 2023
Candidates are if their parents are permanent residents of the state with a permanent residence.
The minimum age limit should be 17 years old. There is no upper age limit.
Marine Engineer Applicants have a maximum age limit of 25 years of age as of 31st December 2023
Academic Qualifications
Should be 10+2 passed or equivalent from a recognised board by State or Central Government
Applicants must have passed Mathematics and Physics as compulsory courses in their qualifying examination, as well as one of the following; Biology/Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application.
In relation to all these above subjects, candidates should be individually passed in one of these subjects in theory and practical mode
Candidates who will sit for the qualifying exam in 2023 will also be considered for the entrance exam.
General category candidates should obtain an aggregate of 45% in 3 compulsory subjects in their 10+2 or equivalent examinations
Reserved category candidates should secure an aggregate of 40% marks.
Candidates also must have qualified a minimum of 30% in English
WBJEE 2023 Application Form Date
The WBJEE 2023 Application Form has been released on 23rd December 2022 on the WBJEEB’s official website, https://wbjeeb.nic.in/. Students are recommended to review the eligibility requirements established by the authorities before submitting their application. After the registration procedure is completed, the authorities will also provide the application form correction option.
WBJEE 2023 Admit Card Date
The WBJEE 2023 admit card will be made available from 20.04.2023 (Thursday) to 30.04.2023 (Sunday) at https://wbjeeb.nic.in/. Students who complete the application form within the deadline will be handed admit cards to take the exam. To get the admit card, students must log in with their application number and password to download their admit card.
WBJEE 2023 Answer Key
The WBJEE 2023 answer key will be posted to the official website. You can check the answer key also on our website as we upload the answer key within 2 hours after the exam. Besides, the tentative answer key will be released first, and students will be able to object to it. After reviewing the objection, the board will issue a final answer key.
WBJEE 2023 Result
Students can see the result online by submitting their application number. Result date will be announced on www.wbjeeb.nic.in. Students are urged to download a copy of their WB JEE result since it would be required for counselling.
Counselling Date
Students who are declared qualified will be able to attend the counselling session. WBJEE counselling would be performed online, with candidates filling their selections of desired institutes, and seats will be given based on WBJEE merit.
WBJEE 2023 Syllabus
WBJEEB will shortly publish the syllabus at www.wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE 2023 curriculum includes the topics on which questions will be asked in the West Bengal JEE 2023 test.
