JEE Main 2023 Session 2- Application Form
NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 Application Form, session 2 on their official website. Applicants can go to this link and start their JEE Main registration process. Please keep in mind that NTA has only released the form for April Session, which is Session 2. The last date of registration is 12 March 2023 at 9 PM. The NTA has also released the JEE Main 2023 Answer Key for Session 1 on 2.01.2023. Click here to know more.

Important guidelines for JEE Main 2023 Registration, Session 2
- Candidates who have already registered and paid for the Session 1 examination and wish to appear for Session 2, can log in with their previous Application Number and Password.
- They have to choose the Paper, Medium of Examination and Cities for Session 2 and finally pay the registration fees.
Guidelines for new candidates
- Candidates must carefully fill out the form as no corrections will be allowed after the form submission.
- As per the NTA rules, candidates are not allowed to fill out or submit the form more than once. Strict actions will be taken against that candidate if they are found to do so.
- Students can pay for the application fees only through Net Banking, UPI services, Credit Cards or Debit Card. In addition to the exam fees, the concerned bank can charge GST and Processing Charges as applicable.
- After the candidate successfully completes the registration process, they will be redirected to the Confirmation Page. If the Conformation Page does not appear then the candidate must contact the concerned bank. This is to check the payment status or to get a refund in case of duplicate payments.
- The application window is open only for Session 2 now. Candidates who are willing to appear for session 2, can log in to the website and wait for the application window to re-open.
- In relation to the above point, students can only pay the fees for Session 2 after successfully completing the application form submission.
JEE Main 2023 Registration Fees
This year, NTA has increased the JEE Main 2023 Application Form fees. Look at the table below issued by the NTA to know all the detailed fee structures for JEE Main 2023 Candidates.
Step-by-Step Guide to fill the JEE Main 2023 Application Form
- Visit www.jeemain.nta.nic.in and go to Candidate Activity.
- Click on JEE(Main) 2023 Session 2 Application
3. You will be redirected to this page. You need to scroll down and click on the checkbox to proceed.
4. Start the registration by filling in your name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name, mobile number and email id. Please write your full name as printed on your Class 10-mark sheet/certificate or equivalent. Otherwise, the application form will be rejected.
5. Please put the mobile number and email address that is valid and in use.
6. Carefully put the educational details as per the documents you will upload.
7. You also need to create a Password and choose a Security Question and its Answer during the form fill-up. We advise you to note down the Password, the Security Question, and its Answer for further use.
Follow these guidelines to create a proper Password:
i. Password must be 8 to 13 characters long
ii. Password must contain at least 1 Upper Case Letter
iii. Password must contain at least 1 Lower Case Letter
iv. Password must contain at least 1 Numeric Value
v. Password must contain at least 1 special character like !@#$%^&*-
8. After this, you can log in with the registration number and password you have received on your mobile number/email address
9. At this stage, you will provide information related to residence, country, and educational medium in Class 11 and 12, as information regarding the diabetic condition, and preferred language for the exam. In addition, you also have to choose the papers for which you want to appear and your examination center.
10. Lastly, you have to put all your educational details from Class 10 and Class 12. If you are currently in Class 12 and appearing for JEE Main 2023 then you have to submit Class 10 marks.
11. Finally, check all the details carefully for any mistakes. Once done, click on submit.
12. After you are done with the additional details, you have to upload the scanned image of your passport-sized coloured photograph and signature in JEE Main 2023 Application Form. Please stick to the file size and file format as instructed by the NTA.
13. After the documents upload, carefully enter the security pin and then click on Save & Next.

13. In this step you will be redirected to the payment page. Your payable fees will be shown as per your gender and category. The payment needs to be done online through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ UPI Services.
14. After successful payment, you will receive a message on your mobile number and the registration process is complete.

Check JEE Main 2023 Application Status
If you wish to check the status of your Application Form, you can log in to the candidate portal with your Application ID and Password. Once you log in successfully, you will be able to check the details of your application status.

JEE Main 2023 Registration -How to Recover Sign-In Password
- Visit the NTA official website
- Go to the Only Registered Candidate Sign In and Click on Forget Password
- Enter your JEE Main Application No. and Date of Birth
- At this stage, you will receive the Password in your registered mobile number/email address
How to retrieve JEE Main 2023 Application Number
In case you have lost or forgotten the JEE Main 2023 Application Form Number, then check your email address and phone number. While registering, NTA sends the Application Number to your mobile number as well as your e-mail id. Otherwise, you can check the downloaded copy of your application form to get the Application number.
If none of the options works, then you can directly contact to NTA Helpdesk number or you can write a mail to them to retrieve your application number.
