    Documents necessary to bring on the NEET 2023 Exam Day

    A printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from the NTA website with a passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Application form pasted on it).
    One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the Centre during NEET (UG) – 2023 Examination.
    One Post Card Size (4”X6”) colour photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card. The proforma with Post Card size photograph shall be handed over to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall.
    Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original and valid and like PAN card/Driving License/VoterID/Passport/Aadhaar Card /Ration Card/ Class 12 Admit Card with Photograph /any other valid photo ID issued by the Government.
    PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category.

    More detailed eligibility criteria for NEET 2023

    1. The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other authorized examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (practical test included), and English as a compulsory subject are eligible for NEET.
    2. The Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English after passing either the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination (practical test included) and English as a compulsory subject are eligible for NEET.
    3. The first year of a three-year degree course at a recognized university in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English (practical test included) provided the examination is a University Examination and the candidate has passed the previous qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English at a level not less than a core course.
    4. B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University provided that he/she has completed the B.Sc. Examination with at least two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and that he/she has passed the previous qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
    5. Any other examination that is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology; which shall include practical tests in each of these subjects and English).
    NEET 2023 Exam Important Announcement

    NEET 2023 Exam Date Rules and Regulations:

    1. The candidate cannot enter the Examination Centre after 1:30 p.m. Therefore, the candidate shall leave home well in advance taking into consideration various factors such as traffic, location of the Centre and weather conditions, etc.
    2. The candidate will follow all the instructions and maintain discipline in the examination/ Examination Hall.
    3. Moreover, they will not breach any examination rule.
    4. Plus, they will not use or promote any unfair means of activity during the examination.
    5. In case, the candidate finds another candidate using unfair means in the examination, the same will be immediately informed to the Invigilators on duty.
    6. The candidate will bring only the following to the Examination Centre:
      • Admit Card along with passport-size photograph affixed on it;
      • One passport-size photograph is to be affixed to the Attendance Sheet.
      • Valid Original Identity proof, and PwBD certificate, if applicable.
      • One Post Card Size (4”X6”) colour photograph with white background should be pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card and should be handed over to Invigilator at the Centre. If they do not bring then they’ll be not able to sit and will be disqualified.
    7. The candidate will not bring any barred items to the Centre.
    8. The candidate will cooperate with the staff at Examination Centre during Frisking.
    9. The candidates will report at the allotted Examination Centre well in advance to make themselves available for compulsory physical frisking.
    10. The candidate will follow the dress code for appearing in NEET 2023 Examination. If candidates are wearing a customary dress, they need to report at the allotted Examination centre latest by 12:30 pm on the day of the examination.
    11. The candidate will regularly visit the website and also check registered email/SMS for any updates regarding the Examination.

    • Visit the NEET website and click ‘Forgot Application Number’. Enter the same information as your previous application like Candidate’s, Father’s, Mother’s Name, DOB, Categories and security PIN. Click submit and receive the application number on your registered phone number.

    2. How to reset a forgotten password?

    Visit the NEET website and click ‘Forgot Password’, choose any of the options

    • Using Security Question & the Answer you choose during Form filling.
    • A verification code will be sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered mobile number.
    • A reset link sent via email to your Registered email address.

    • Simply taking and passing NEET does not guarantee a candidate admission to Undergraduate Medical Courses.
