WBJEE 2023 Application Form: Important Guidelines
As per the official notification, WBJEE 2023 Application Form has been released on 23rd December 2022. The WBJEE 2023 exam will be held on 30th April 2023, as declared by The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (WBJEEB). Read the full article to know how to apply for this entrance examination.
Important guidelines for successfully registering for WBJEE 2023
- WBJEE 2023 Application Form has been released online at www.wbjeeb.nic.in. Printed Forms are not available anymore.
- Carefully provide a valid and working phone number and email id while filling out the form. The Board will send all the necessary notifications to the given phone number.
- Mind the spelling while you fill out the registration details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile and date of birth. Once submitted, these details cannot be edited/changed/modified under any circumstances.
- Regarding the above point, information must match exactly with photo id cards, mark sheets, school/college admit cards and others. Later, students have to produce all these documents while entering the examination hall.
- Never share your application id, password, security question and answer with anyone.
- Students need to upload a scanned copy of the photograph and signature. If any applicant receives any email or SMS regarding any discrepancy in the uploaded photographs, then he/she must rectify it immediately within one day.
- Other details except for the father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile and date of birth, can be modified once the board announces the “Correction Period”. Please keep in mind that the Board will not allow changes thereafter.
- Students can pay the examination fees only by Debit Card/Credit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking.
- Please do not wait until the last day to pay the WBJEE 2023 application fee till the last date to avoid online payment failure or network trafficking. WBJEE Fees are not refundable once paid under any situation.
- Please keep multiple copies of the payment receipt, confirmation page and Admit Card.
WBJEE 2023 Registration Fees
The fee for WBJEE 2023 is Rs.500 only for General Candidates. For SC/ST/ OBC-A/OBC-B is Rs.400. If applicable, Bank Services Charges are relevant for both categories. For availing of the fee concession, students must produce SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B respective certificates. If students fail to produce the certificates, his/her application will be cancelled as instructed by WBJEEB.
Step-by-Step Guide to fill the WBJEE 2023 Application Form
- Visit www.wbjeeb.nic.in
- Go to the “New Registration Link”
- Fill out the details like Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, date of birth, gender, type of identification and contact number.
- Carefully fill in the other contact details like phone number, email id, address, state, pin code, district, etc.
- Create a password and security question with an answer. Please remember the password, if needed you can write it and keep it in a safe place for future use.
- Then Preview your details given in the Application Form and then proceed to “Submit”
- Once submitted, applicants will receive an Application Number on their registered mobile number and email id
- With this application Number, WBJEE 2023 candidates need to log in to the portal. Here they will be required to provide the password they have set before (Step No.5) and fill in all the necessary details of the Registration Form. In this step, applicants have to choose three exam zones, which will be allocated as WBJEE Exam Centre.
- Once the details are filled out, candidates have to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature. Candidates must abide by the upload specifications stated by the WBJEEB.

11. After you have successfully uploaded the photo and signature, you will be redirected to the payment gateway. Complete the online payment process through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ UPI only
12. Once the payment is successful, candidates must download the confirmation page and keep a printout for future reference.
WBJEE 2023 Application Form Correction
After the first phase of the Registration process, WBJEEB will announce the Correction period which has been set from 22.01.2023 (Sunday) to 24.01.2023 (Tuesday). Student details except for the father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile and date of birth, can be modified once the board announces the “Correction Period”. Please keep in mind that the Board will not allow changes thereafter.
WBJEE 2023 Exam Date

WBJEE 2023 Admit Card
The Board authorities will release the WBJEE 2023 Admit card from 20.04.2023 (Thursday) to 30.04.2023 (Sunday). Applicants can download their admit card using the WBJEE 2023 Application Form Number and Password. The Admit Card is an essential document. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam without the admit card.
WBJEE 2023 Exam Schedule
The WBJEEB has released the official exam schedule. In this regard, candidates must keep in mind that this exam is held once a year on the given date. Therefore, there is no alternative date if a student fails to appear for the exam on that day.

Forgot WBJEE 2023 Application Number
Don’t worry we have got you covered. Follow these steps to retrieve your Application ID;
- Go to www.wbjeeb.nic.in
- Click on the WBJEE login window link
- Click the Candidate login and then click on “Forgot Application Number”
- Enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth and security pin
- Click on the “Get Application Number” button
- You will receive the WBJEE application number on your registered email and mobile number
Forgot WBJEE 2023 Login Password?
If you have forgotten the login password, here is how you can reset it;
- Visit www.wbjeeb.nic.in
- Go to the WBJEE login window
- Click the Candidate login and then click on “Forgot Password”
- You will be given 3 options to reset the password
a) You can opt for Security Question and Answer you chose during the Application Form fill up
b) You can opt for Verification Code sent via SMS to your registered mobile number
c) You can also get a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address - Select any 1 of the 3 options and click on “Continue”
- Give your required details and reset your WBJEE 2023 login password
