Everything about JEE Main 2023- Session 2
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently declared JEE Main 2023 exam dates on their official website. Session 2 of JEE Main will start from April 6th to 12th. Session 1 was conducted from 24th to 31st January 2023. This way candidates get two opportunities in a year to increase their score if they are not satisfied on their first attempt. The board has also released the JEE Main Application form for 2023 at the NTA official website.

JEE Main 2023: Changes Introduced
- The NTA has reduced the total number of exam centres for JEE Main. Now the exam will be conducted in 399 centres located all over India
- The NTA has increased the registration fees; for General Male Candidate its 1000/- while for General Females is 800/-
- The authorities of NTA modified the eligibility criteria. They have re-introduced the 75% criteria for admission into IITs, CFTIs and NITs
- The Agency has mandated candidates to provide parents’ phone numbers and email address

JEE Main 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- There is no age limit
- JEE Candidates must be 10+2 or equivalent examination passed by a recognized board
- Applicants must be qualified in 5 subjects- Mathematics, Physics, Language, Biology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject
- Admission for B.Tech/ B.Plan/B. Arch into NITs, IITs and CFTIs, candidates must secure a minimum of 75% for General Students and 65% for SC/ST category candidates. Students can also belong to the top 20 percentile of their respective boards
- Admission for B.Arch Institutes other than IIITs, CFITs and NITs, candidates must score 50% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 or equivalent
JEE Main 2023 Application Form
Candidates must visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in for the JEE Main Registration process. For Session 2, the JEE Main 2023 Application Form has released on 14th February 2023. The last date for online application form submission is on 7 March 2023 till 9:00 P.M. and the deadline for fee payment is at 11:50 P.M. on 12th March.

JEE Main 2023 Counselling
Once JEE Candidates clear the exam, they will become eligible for Counselling Sessions. Through Counselling sessions, aspirants will be able to get admission into desired streams of engineering at reputable institutes in India. In addition, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% of marks to become eligible for the JEE Main Counselling process.
