One Month for the Final Preparation to Crack JEE Advanced 2021

Finally, the long-awaited JEE Advanced exam is taking place on 3rd October 2021. Registration for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Advanced 2021) will begin from 11th September 2021. The exam which was previously scheduled for 3rd July postponed due to the Covid-19 situation is finally taking place. According to the earlier notification, the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2021 will be conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board 2021 (JAB 2021).

The candidates can apply for JEE Advanced 2021 on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates needs be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in the BE/B.Tech Paper of JEE (Main) 2021. The last date of fees paid for a registered candidate will be on 17th September 2021. And the last date of registration is on 16th September 2021. One can expect to get admit card anytime after 25th September, as per the official notice.

Birth certificate
Class 12 or equivalent, mark-sheet
Passport-size photograph
Scanned copy of the signature
Aadhar card
Category certificate for GEN-EWS, SC/ST, OBC-NCL, if applicable
PwD certificate, if applicable
Scribe letter request, only for those who have planned to opt PwD as “Yes” and Scribe Request Letter as “Yes”
DS category certificate, if applicable
Gazette notification showing the change of name, only for those candidates whose names are not the same as in class 10 / birth certificate.

Eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2021

Candidates must be among the top 2.5 Lakh successful candidates (including all categories) in the BE/B.Tech Paper of JEE (Main) 2021.

Age limit for JEE Advanced 2021

Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1996. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1991.

Number of attempts for JEE Advanced 2021

A candidate can attempt a maximum of two times in two consecutive years for JEE Advanced.
