The NTA released the JEE Main 2023 Answer Key on their official website on 2.01.2023. Session 1 examination candidates can download the official answer key from the NTA website. The NTA has opened the portal for challenges. Please note that before the NTA releases the results and the scores, the recorded answers will be visible for 2-3 days.

Steps to download JEE Main 2023 Answer Key

The NTA will release the answer key on their official website. Once downloaded, candidates can compare their answers and calculate their estimated scores. JEE Main Session 1 candidate for 2023 can download the answer key by following these steps;

1. Go to https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ and click on Answer Key

2. Enter your JEE Main application number and password or the date of birth

3. Enter your credentials and carefully put in the security pin

4. Click on “Sign In” and you will see the JEE Main 2023 Answer Key on your screen

5. Download the PDF of the Answer Key for future use

JEE Main 2023 Answer Key Challenge

Applicants can raise objections or challenge the answer key once the portal is open for challenges. For this, candidates must provide proof of their contention and upload the same on the NTA website. These objections will be considered and reviewed by the official boards.

Steps to challenge JEE Main 2023 Answer Key

Candidates have to pay Rs 200/- for each question. Additionally, only paid challenges submitted during the specified time via the key challenge link will be accepted. Follow these steps to challenge;

Go to https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/
Enter your JEE Main credentials and log in to your portal
Click on “Submit” and download the JEE Main 2023 Answer Key and Response Sheet
Then go to raise objection link
Select your question ID and the correct answer key as per your choice
Go to ‘Save your claim’ and tap ‘Next’ to progress further
Upload the necessary documents for proving your answer key challenge
Pay the required amount for the challenge and click on “Submit”
You can do the payment through a Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking

Points to remember while challenging the JEE Main Answer Key 2023

Please note that challenges filed without justification or evidence, or on any other medium other than the authorised link, shall be rejected.
Final decision regarding the answer challenge will be finalised by the NTA. After that, no further communication will be entertained.
NTA will not individually inform the candidates about the JEE Main 2023 Answer Key challenge results.
The subject experts will check the challenged answer keys. Then they will declare the final answer key on the official website with a public notice.
The final answer key will be used to compile the results. After the release of the JEE (Main) – 2023 results and/or NTA Score, no complaints regarding the answer key(s) will be considered.

How to Recover Sign-In JEE Main 2023 Registration Password

If you have forgotten or lost your JEE Main 2023 Password, then follow these steps to recover your password;

Visit https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
Go to the Only Registered Candidate Sign In and Click on Forget Password
Enter your JEE Main Application No. and Date of Birth
At this stage, you will receive the Password in your registered mobile number/email address

How to retrieve JEE Main 2023 Application Number

Check your email address and phone number if you have lost or forgotten the JEE Main 2023 Application Form Number. While registering, NTA sends the Application Number to your mobile number as well as your e-mail id. Otherwise, you can check the downloaded copy of your application form to get the Application number.

If none of the options works, then you can directly contact NTA Helpdesk or write a mail to them to retrieve your application number.
