Joint Entrance Examination or JEE is a nation level (All- India) Engineering Entrance Examination. It qualifies candidates for IIT, NIT, IIIT and Government aided engineering colleges across the country. Two different examinations make up the test: JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

The test was perceived and conducted in the year 1960 for the first time. It was named Common Entrance Exam (CEE), later it was re-named as JEE (Joint Entrance Exam). It is also one of the most popular engineering entrance examinations of the nation.

The mode of the exam is online/computer-based so a candidate has to understand the computer. JEE is one of the toughest exams globally. JEE Main is the equivalent as that of AIEEE and JEEAdvanced is the same as that of IIT JEE.

A lot of hard work and commitment is required to crack this exam. The purpose behind such craze is because of the secure future, better job opportunities, and a better package. So getting into IIT is a hard job but life will be good after getting an engineering degree from such a prestigious institute.
